A day trip to the Berkshires!
We will meet at the Jewish Community Center (corner of Sessions and Elmgrove on the East Side) at 9 AM, and then we drive out west to this fascinating destination.
We will be visiting the MassMOCA (www.masccmoca.org) museum in North Adams to see one of the most stylish contemporary art venues in New England, and then get some exercise by walking the Pine Cobble Trail, only 10 short minutes away and which offers some of the most stunning 360 views of the beautiful Berkshire scenery.
All followed by a well-earned dinner at one of the area's great dining establishments. Art, culture, exercise, good food and the great outdoors. Come join us for a memorable day in the Berkshires. Out there and back in one day.
So far we have two volunteers to drive, and have room for 8 to go on the trip. If more people want to go, more people will need to volunteer to drive. Gas and restaurant/museum money is all that's required. And good walking shoes!
